Felicitari Fundatiei Casa Perlei care le da acestor oameni din cartierul Malin o raza de lumina in viata lor si mai ales copiilor care au ce invata si ei acum, ptr ca au nevoie cu adevarat, ca altfel numai Dumnezeu stie ce se alege de ei ,Bunicii mei au trait acolo si in vacantele mele mergeam la ei, nu era asa cum este acum si sincer acum nici nu am mai fost daca bunicii mei nu mai traiesc, mai am verisori acolo si spre surprinderea mea am vazut o poza aici cu una din verisoare.

"A night without sleep"

On 21.12.2007 Casa Perla with volunteers from the churches of Codlea and the surrounding area, together with children and teenagers from Malin organised a Christmas celebration called "A Night Without Sleep" for children and young people. It took place in the Culture House of Codlea, the director of it giving us the community hall for the whole day. The programme took place in two sessions,the first one 12.00-14.00 hours and the second one 15.00-17.00 hours. The first programme was for the children of Malin neighbourhood (365) aged 4-14 and their families. The second programme which was advertised through the media, flyers, and the local churches (Catholic, Evangelical and Reformed) was for the people of Codlea. The leaders of the programme presented dramas, led carols and organised games creating an atmosphere of Christmas celebration. At the end of the first session the team and the foundation's volunteers gave presents to the disadvantaged children that were there. The gifts were given to us through the campaign "Giving with Joy"/Operation Christmas (shoe boxes) and were presented by Simona Rosiuta, the local representative.
